Car Parking in MIddlewich—Campaign Success!

Fiona Bruce with enthusiastic supporters of cancellation of proposed car parking charges for Middlewich

Following the announcement by Cheshire East Council to make changes to their car parking charge proposals, which will now mean that car parking in Middlewich will remain free for the foreseeable future, Fiona Bruce commented as follows:-

"77MS is an excellent result, in the best interests of residents, businesses and volunteers in the Middlewich community and I am delighted that Cheshire East Council have listened to the concerns of so many of us for whom protecting and strengthening community life is a priority. It is to the credit of so many local people that they persisted with such dignity and determination to have heir voices heard."
